Windows and Linux SDC Tools

The tools package contains folders for Windows and Linux versions. At this time Mac is not supported as I don’t have any Apple hardware to build and test the software on.

The tools package contains the following utilities:

SDC Screen Designer

Add or update new page layouts. Requires WIFI connection, and uses the SDC’s display as a live preview mechanism.

SDC Device Finder

Locate SDC devices on your WIFI network. When connected to a WIFI network, SDC sends out a broadcast message every 5 seconds identifying the hostname of the device and the IP address it is connected on. You can use this to find devices without having to hunt around in your router’s config.

SDC Boot Image Patcher

Use this tool to customize the SDC kernel with your own boot image.

SDC Map File Generator

Use this tool to generate engine map files for VE, Advance, and AFR Target from a speeduino tune file. You can also upload the files to your device if you have a WIFI connection enabled.

SDC Ini File Editor

Edit the ini file without having to remove the SD card from your device. Requires WIFI connection.

Timezone setter

Set the timezone on your device. This puts the setting in the ini file, but provides you with a picklist to choose from to avoid errors with spelling of timezone names.
